Bluv vivo air can't remember passcode pattern

My child set a passcode on my phone and I can't get it open now. I've gone into google on my comp to use the android device manager, but no password prompt is coming up on the phone screen. I also am not getting a google pswrd prompt when I put in the wrong code 5 times, just a timer until I can retry. I really don't want to wipe my phone as I was dumb and haven't backed up my photos. Is there a back way that I'm not seeing?
