How do i prevent my browser from redirectkng me to bad sites?

Sometimes when I'm browsing the internet (via Google chrome) on my phone I get redirected to sites that are most likely viruses. It's really annoying because I can't exit these sites normally, I have to force the chrome app to close removing all my incognito tabs. Is there anyway I can prevent my phone from doing this? Maybe by downloading an all of something?
