Verizon Ellipsis 7 shows no display?

Last night I was listening to some music and then woke up this morning and saw it right where i left it and tried to unlock it but, the screen looked lit but no lock screen was displaying. You can hear the noises of the tablet such as clicking and unlocking but you don't see anything! Even when i turn it off and on it doesn't show the "Verizon" or "Welcome" message. I've only had it for about a month and its happening to me? I'm questioning if i should just give up.
