Will total wireless work with the samsung galaxy s5 if it has verizon + gsm unlocked?

I want to buy a s5 I found online for a good deal and need it to work with total wireless. The network on the phone says Verizon + gsm unlocked and total wireless is a cdma carrier. But I hear total wireless and Verizon have the same network so will it work? I don't want to buy the phone if I can't use it with total wireless. Please answer.
