Google updates caused the battery drain problem!

AC Question

The Google updates caused this problem and no band-aid solution is going to fix it. Turn off an out of control app? How do you turn off the Android OS? I used to think that Google knew what they were doing, but truly they don't know their **** from a hole in the ground. Google's idea is "If it's broke, bring out a new version of the OS, then dummies will think it's fixed." My Nexus 7 tablet running 5.1.1 goes from 100% to 0% in one day, with the tablet OFF! not asleep, but OFF! Google sucks and I will never buy another device that has anything to do with Google. Google won't fix anything - just gives us another bug ridden OS upgrade! DUMP GOOGLE!

I think it's more like "If it works, break it". Look at Maps - is USED TO BE a great app - until they "fixed" it.

You do have to give them SOME credit though - it only took them 3 updates to fix the 5.0 memory leak.
