I have a Canadian S4 (that does not have root) and it has just been repaired due to water damage. Looking into it it had appeared that whenever I had pressed the lock button or the screen would timeout, it would immediately turn back on for no apparent reason. I have looked at other forms and websites stating:
-Use pressurized air into the headset jack
- Hard/Soft Reset your phone
-Use various apps to get the background apps off
The list goes on and on...
None of these ''solutions have not worked for me and I am urgently looking for a fix.
