Going back to the dark ages, I had a Blackberry. On that phone, you had different setting for all the sounds that could be adjusted individually just like all phones .
For example, you could set the ringer volume to half volume and the message arrival sound to three quarters. You could do that with all of the different sounds. Then, you could save that group of settings as say "Home". You could adjust all of the volumes to one quarter and save that as "Work". Turn everything down to zero except for the ringer and save that as "Sleep".
That way, you could activate the "Work" setting and everything was adjusted just how you wanted it.
Is something like that possible on the Galaxy S4?
PS - I hope this question is understandable. It is to me but I know that I can sometimes speak in riddles.
