I have recently installed cynogenmod on my HTC One M7 and in the mobile network I've selected the LTE (recommended) option.

Also, I've selected the preferred network to LTE/WCDMA by going into *#*#4636#*#* option on my phone.

I want to know whether 4G/LTE is enabled on my phone and if it is how does the symbol looks like in the status bar for 4G/LTE. Since I am only getting 3G, H+ and H as indication in the notification bar with my network symbol.

    Welcome to AC.

On all my phones - though I don't have an M7 - '4G' shows in the status bar when I'm in a 4G area. I don't see why the M7 should be different, but you may want to ask them in the M7 forum rather than here in AAQ.
    I'm guessing that you're not getting 4G.
