    Yes, we know that the google fi program is optimized and open for nexus 6 users, but some people have been using the sim in other devices. what phone have you successfully used on the google fi network?

    I haven't heard of anyone using anything but Nexus 6 devices. I guess it could work in a device for the cell part but you need the Google Fi software in order to have it work like Fi is supposed to (using wifi networks).

    I found a few articles indicating that people are using the Nexus 5 with Project Fi. However, there are limitations since there are a number of software tweaks that are needed to have the device working properly with Fi (i.e. signal hand-off). Either way, doing so will require a Nexus 6 to activate the SIM then attempting to swap the SIM over to another device.
