Since I updated my s5 last night it's been beeping like it's charging every 10 seconds, since it "starts charging" (even though it's not connected) the screen wakes up and it's been draining my battery. I tried cleaning the charging port with a needle but it keeps doing it. Is there anything else I can do stop this?

Try canned air. If it's not dirt, though, I'd bring it to your carrier. (My philosophy, and the supervisors at the tech support divisions of most carriers, is "you broke it, you own it". Of course I phrase it more politely, but I explain that it's not a warranty issue, it's a liability issue. They broke my phone by forcing an update into it, now I expect them to fix or replace it. I've gotten it done twice on my current phone, and a few people I've advised to take that position have had phones replaced.)

(Google chooses to use an update method that I outdated in about 1989, by designing one that wouldn't update with a corrupted upload. If they want to keep using a 1988 method of updating phones, they, or the carriers, have to eat the ones they damage.)
