Can I alter the settings of the account list in stock Android email app?

I have multiple email accounts in the stock Android email app. When I view the list of accounts, it lists my name (i.e. the entry under "Your Name:" in the account settings) instead of the account name for each. Unsurprisingly, my name is the same regardless of what account I'm using, so the account list is actually just my name listed multiple times.

This only happens when I am selecting which account to view. When I go into the app settings, and it lists my accounts so I can choose which settings to modify, it uses the actual account names. But when I am viewing emails, and I want to switch from account 1 to account 2, I'm given a list consisting of my name repeated again and again. This is frustrating.

Is there any way to change this?
