How do I get rid of the "1" on the phone icon in the main toolbar (LG G4)?

Only had the LG G4 a week and the "1" on the phone icon won't go away. Tried clearing the call log, changing the icon, etc. Nothing in call settings points to a solution. Not a huge deal, just annoying!

Hello. Welcome to Android Central.

There was a similar thread yesterday but I can't find it.

Apparently if you clear the cache and data of an app called Badge... something in Settings - Apps - All, that will work without harm.

That app is not on my current Motorola.
