Why is my note 4 freezing/crashing after updating to 5.1.1?

[AC Question]

My note 4 keeps on freezing/crashing constantly. It says UI has stop working, and apps keep crashing. I did not have the problem before updating it to 5.1.1 Lollipop. It's really frustrating. Can anybody help me solve this problem?

I had this problem. My phone was also unresponsive and took time to respond to button presses. I wiped the partition cache and now it's super. So the best solution is to wipe the partition cache. Check the steps to do this in this thread.

Very disappointed with 5.1.1. I tried wiping my phone but it didn't help
Planning to downgrade back to previous firmware

Has anyone found a fix? I have tried wiping cache partition multiple times and the same problems keep occurring. It has been almost a month since the crashes became very frequent.
