I just bought a LG G4 a few days ago and the only thing that's unpleasant about it is the 30 fps videos at any resolution. Recently, someone made a mod for the camera and achieved the 60 fps filming and 100% image quality, but that requires rooting the phone, which is not exactly what I want to do right now as I may need my warranty at some point in life. The question is, is LG going to update the G4 and bring us 60 fps filming at some point or is it possible to achieve this without rooting it? If not, it's a shame that LG does not use their hardware at maximum potential.
