samsung note 4 wont stay on without power cord in

Phone wont stay on unless i have power cord in and on as soon as i take charger cord out it turns of completely. Then all i get is the first screen you get when turning on every 5 seconds when charge cord not in... plus it vibrates every 5 seconds. Only 3 wks old def not from damage or water and i dont download bugger all or do updates regularly... not a happy change from iPhone to samsung...

It "sounds" as if the phone is not properly charging.....maybe it's a duff battery.....It may also be that Android is frozen in some way.
Certainly you should keep it up to date.
