My Galaxy Prime is not fininding wifi networks on scanning

I can manually add it networks bu the phone does not hold the information and always says they are not in range. Then when I try to connect, it starts scanning and never finds anything.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen for any wi-fi network, or only specific ones? What if you try a public wi-fi network, like at a local cafe?

It happens will all networks both public and private.

Which Prime phone is it? Core Prime? Grand Prime? Try booting into Safe Mode: Restart the Device in Safe Mode Samsung Galaxy Core Prime | Verizon Wireless. If that doesn't help, then consider a factory reset.
