Anyway to get rid of unread messages notification with Glowfly?

popups work great on my lock screen on my s6 but there seems to be a bug where a notification is left on the screen saying there are unread messages (when there aren't). I've turned off notifications on my stock sms and clicked the "mark read after clicking dismiss" in the Glowfly app but the notification still appears. Anyone know how to fix this? I haven't been able to get a hold of the developers

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried clearing its app cache? Go to Settings>Apps​, select Glowfly, and Clear Cache.

Thanks! Yes I did try that and I'm still getting the annoying notifications

If you don't mind losing any saved data on Glowfly, try Clear Data as well (if you haven't already).

Cleared it and it's still buggered

No--the system cache partition only contains temporary data.

That's the kicker, I get a failed email response every time I contact them. They've changed emails but haven't posted their new account
