Is the Moto G3 worth getting in San Diego even without band 12?

Since finding out about Motorola pulling band 12 support, I'm reconsidering my purchase of the MG3. Is it going to affect me in San Diego? There are a lot of rural areas around S.D. County that I drive through. I feel like with T-Mo I should definitely be looking for a device with band 12.
