I need to copy some text from a file on the phone to computer. I email myself these text but I want to find an easier way. Sending files to computer then open to copy is also complicated. Actually it is a log file, and I need to do this every few days.
    Any suggestion?

Welcome to Android Central! It should be pretty straightforward to connect the phone to the computer via USB and use Windows Explorer to locate the log file, then copy it to the computer by dragging and dropping.

Airdroid can help you. You can try the clipboard sync feature to copy from Android and paste to computer.

You could run ES File Explorer to copy the file from the phone and paste it to the computer.

Or you could run a web server on the phone (there are a few free web server apps on Play) or WiFi File Transfer (which does basically the same thing) and use a web browser on the computer to download the file.

Anything more automated (and it's possible to write software that would send the file to the computer every time period you set, or every time the file was changed [or changed a certain way] and the computer was in range) would require that you know how to write software.
