Galaxy s5 acting like it has a virus or software is broken.

Well I've had my galaxy since week one so it's getting old. Just recently I've been having a bad problem with the power bottom and screen lock. There are a couple of problems happening. First apps randomly stop working or never start work and won't load. Then when I go to push the power button to put in "sleep mode" it won't come back on. I can push it tens time and nothing happens. The only way to get phone to work is to take battery out and turn back on. And when it does turn on at first it acts like there is no screen lock and I can just start using it. After a minute is goes to the screen lock screen and makes me put back in code. Last is it restarts randomly and will never get past Samsung screen when rebooting. Please help sorry that's a lot.

It could be a virus or it could be a bad update. I'd back everything up (see Backing up an Android Device) then reflash the ROM (see [Samsung] How to flash Stock ROM via ODIN). Then be careful which apps and data you restore. If it starts after installing a particular app or its data, reflash again and skip that app.
