How do I turn off email notifications?

Turn off email notifications

I have a Galaxy S6. Every time I get a gmail email, I get a notification on the screen. I am using the default email app and also have yahoo and hotmail but don't get notifications with them. I do not want a notification everytime I get an email. In email app, under settings and notifications, all are turned to off but I am still get the notifications. Anything I can do?

Go into system settings > accounts. Make sure the appropriate accounts are set to sync or not to sync, depending on your preference. Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any questions.
