Why does my Nexus 5 keep on rebooting?

Nexus 5 phone keep on rebooting

I plugged in to my Nexus 5 phone and it keeps on rebooting and can not start.
Keeps on showing Start then power off.
Is it because of mother board issue?

Welcome to Android Central! Any idea what the battery level is? See what happens if you keep it plugged into a wall outlet undisturbed for at least 4-6 hours. Then try powering on again.
