Why is "Android System" on my galaxy s6, which is completely updated, using 60% of my battery

I just got the s6 about a month ago, battery life was great at first. But now it only lasts a few hours WITH power saving mode, with light use due to the operating system eating all my battery, usually around 58-60%

Re: Why is "Android System" on my galaxy s6, which is completely updated, using 60% of my battery

Welcome to Android Central! Android System is a very general category that encompasses lots of system processes, so that can be hard to troubleshoot.

Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).
