My plan doesn't support new Nexus, and there's no retail store anywhere nearby, so I guess its time to make the switch to iPhone. Will my Sim card from Nexus 4 be able to go straight into my new iPhone?

Welcome to Android Central! No, the Nexus 4 uses the microSIM size, while iPhones use the nanoSIM size. There are SIM cutters available that are pretty cheap (search Amazon for them), but be aware that if you mess up, then the SIM could be rendered useless, and you'll have to get a new card from your carrier (which usually doesn't cost much anyway).
