I want to make sure that none of the files that I have deleted can be recovered through third party software such as Wondershare or similar platforms

Welcome to Android Central! A factory reset should wipe the phone, although it is conceivable that a really industrious hacker could still recover some data that hasn't been completely overwritten. Is that what you're concerned about?

If you're discarding the phone, then one surefire way is to completely destroy the phone's motherboard. A sledgehammer should do the trick.
