how do I get my LG tribute to move the pictures from the phone storage to SD card

I put a sd card in my LG tribute so I can move my potoes from my phone storage to the ad card and can not find a way to do it and my phone is saying sd card is blank or has unsupported filesystem what can I do so I can move my potoes

Welcome to Android Central! The card has to be in a format that the phone can recognize before you can do anything. Does the phone offer to format the card when you insert it? If not, remove it and insert it into your computer, and format it using FAT32. Once it's formatted, insert it back into the phone. Then the easiest way to move files is to plug the phone into your computer via USB and use Windows Explorer to drag and drop.
