Samsung Galaxy tab 3 is not scanning for wifi. What do I do?

I have turned the wifi off and on, forgot password, manually entered it, adjusted my router, and did a factory reset. When it scans it cannot find any networks. Doesn't matter if I'm at home or at the office. It acts like it scanned and just didn't find any results. I have only had the tablet 9 months now. I don't know what else to do. Has anyone else had this problem?

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode, to see if a 3rd party app might be interfering: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-16215

If that doesn't help, then consider a factory reset. If that still doesn't work, then it's probably a hardware problem with the wi-fi radio.
