I have a Galaxy Note 4 and recently, from about a month ago, when making or receiving a call the caller will break up by going mute for a second or two then I can hear the caller again for a few seconds and then the same happens. This does not happen with all calls but with most of them say about 97% of all calls. It is also not caller specific. It will happen with a caller and then not with the same caller on a different call. I have tried the phone in safe mode, I even reset the phone back to factory settings and still the problem continues. Is there something wrong with the phone or is it my network carrier?

Welcome to Android Central! The first thing to suspect is the network. Have you spoken to your carrier about this?
