I am traveling abroad and do not want to use my cellular and data

I only want to use my wi-fi. Is it possible to do this with a Samsung Galaxy S5? I only want to use wifi so I do not have to be charged for phone calls/texts/data. Can someone help?

Go into your settings, and under networks or data usage (I'm not sure what it looks like on your phone), you ought to be able to turn off mobile data and turn off data roaming. Keep the WiFi on and it'll find the WiFi connections it can use. Some of these, of course, will be open and others will require passwords, just like at home.

You could just switch aeroplane mode on and then WiFi on and off when you need it. The same with Bluetooth or location settings.
