I like to listen to audio books while driving and stuff but I find there are times when the reader will be quiet enough that I have to turn up the volume to catch what is being said. Before long, they are back to being loud again and I have to turn down the volume or live with bleeding ears.
I've been looking around and trying to find an app to boost the quiet times and minimize the louds. I've seen terms like normalization and dynamic range compression but so far every audio app I've downloaded that mentions having these features winds up being just another crappy equalizer without the features I'm looking for.
Anyone found a winner?
