Why does my Galaxy S6 get bad cell reception?

I purchased my Galaxy S6 (Verizon) about 6 months ago and have been loving it ever since. Recently though I have been getting little to no cell reception in good reception areas. I've been looking into this problem online and checked my network settings and they are on LTE/CMDA. I'm not sure why I can't get a good cell reception. Do I have a defective receiver or sim card? Please help! I would like to go back to loving my Galaxy S6.

Welcome to the forums. I would start by talking to Verizon. Perhaps they are working on the tower closest to you.

I don't think that's likely. I have friends who also have Verizon and they still get great 4G LTE signal.

Good point. It may be a sim issue. Calling Verizon is still probably the best thing to do in case something is physically wrong with the device.
