After updating my Galaxy S4 to Lollipop 5.0, my SMEMO files are gone! How do I get them back?

When I open my S MEMO app there is nothing saved. Everything that was saved in the app is now gone.

Did you use one of the file browsers to see if the files actually exist? This morning when I tried to access my S Memo files, it showed a blank document with no other documents present. However, if I look in My Files > All Files > Device Storage > SMemo, all the files are located there.
