Within the last two weeks, my Galaxy S4 stopped sending my MMS messages (the ones with 2 or more contacts) but works just fine when sending SMS (single contact) messages and photos. I also have noticed that my calendar will not sync with Google Calendar. This leads me to believe that there is some setting that changed, relating to data transfer, especially since little or no data has transferred in the last month.
I have already spent 2-3 hours this week on the phone with Consumer Cellular and after resetting/editing virtually every applicable parameter, there has been no resolution of why this happened or how to fix it. I figure that an automatic update occurred and made a change that is difficult to find.
I have had the phone for 14 months and I had the same problem about 10 months ago which was fixed in about 20 minutes by a Consumer Cellular rep.
The phone has worked flawlessly for the last 10 months. And now the gremlin is back..
Any thoughts or hints?
