Can I access the internal memory if my phone won't turn on?

A

AC Question

I have a Sony Xperia M2, and it was plugged into my laptop with a USB. Android Companion or Phone Companion or whatever it is told me I had an update so I updated my phone, but there was an error so I couldn't complete the installation. Now my phone won't turn on at all. It vibrates when press the power button like it normally does, but nothing comes up on the screen. I've tried charging it, the charging light comes on for about half a second then goes off. I've searched on google to try and fix it or find a way to resolve the problem but nothing. All I can think of is to reset the phone, but I have loads of photos on there that I don't want to lose, but since my phone won't turn on I don't know if there's any way to access the phone memory.
