galaxy s4 US Cellular is there hope to change it to AT&T

What a used galaxy s4 US Cellular phone , is it possible to root it and use it with AT&T sim? Or am I barking up the wrong tree with this phone? Any opinions would be appreciated at a loss with this phone Thanks

Rooting has nothing to do with the SIM. You'll have to get the unlock code from US Cellular - Device Unlocking Policy | U.S. Cellular. (According to the site, you have to bring it to one of their locations to get it unlocked.)

It might work - putting in an AT&T SIM (then putting in the unlock code, because it'll ask for it if US Cellular gave you the code instead of unlocking it for you) will tell you - but you'll probably be limited to 3G data, you won't get 4G.

Thanks for the reply I'm going to try the link you gave me and see if I can get some help from US Cellular. I'm just trying to figure this phone out so I can use it, I'm hoping I didn't waste my money on this phone. Appreciate to help
