    The upgrade from 5.1 to 5.1.1 has killed my bluetooth's ability to connect to several devices. I'd REALLY like to get them back and going through the various support outlets for them has not worked.

    Sure is. You will need to flash the factory image you are after. Check out this site.

    You will need adb tools, unlock you bootloader and flash the new image.
