How can I find a bad app on my phone?

I keep getting a notification that says "Uninstall this app immediately; it can be used to spy on you." However, when I click on the link, it goes to nowhere; there's simply an option to say 'ok' or 'I'll keep it anyway." I never can determine which app it's referring to. Please help!!

Are you referring to a link while browsing the internet? If so, then that's simply an ad that is trying to get you to install potentially malicious content. I would perform a factory reset and stay away from those types of links/ads, which appear legitimate but really are not.

Thanks for your quick reply. Actually, the notification appears as a shield in the notification panel that says from Google Play.

That's weird. Can you post a screenshot with that notification? If you long press on the notification and then tap on info, what do you get?

I would go into settings - apps and check all downloaded and running apps for strange apps you don't want
