    This message pops up several times every minute that my S5 is connected to the Internet.
    And always twice...

    It has something to do with Samsung's sync.
    If I go to settings > accounts > samsung account, it says "sync error", and on the bottom there is also a message saying sync is having problems, and will be back shortly. Well, it's been over a week now. I doubt that really is the case.

    If I click the menu button and click "cancel sync", I will no longer get these messages.
    But of course, it's the most important thing in the world to keep my #%+/:! Samsung account synced, so it will soon try to do so again.

    If I click on ANYTHING else in the Samsung account settings page, I will instead get this message: "Unfortunately, settings has stopped."
    So I can't even disable the account, or change the sync settings...

    I'm currently in Japan, and the issue started somewhere on the way here.
    I have no idea if this has ANYTHING to do with that I'm currently using a data-only SIM card... That sounds absurd, but it's really too big a coincidence that the issue started when I left my country and normal SIM card behind...
    Besides, I'm mostly connected via WiFi here anyway...

    Unfortunately I don't know any easy fix.
    My brother had a similar issue with a GS4 when he went to México last year.
    At first, he only synced to his Google account, but ended up doing a factory reset.
    He really didn't need the factory reset but he just went ahead and did it.
    After that, the issue was resolved.

    You could get in touch with Samsung to see if they can help.

    I never found a fix.
    I ended up disabling Samsung Account altogether in the App Manager instead.
    I guess that can be considered a fix as well.

    Anyway, I'm home again now, and I'm gonna root my phone which will also get rid of all the malfunctioning crap going on with it.
