My Alcatel ONETOUCH Fierce can't connect to the network for more than an instant, any help?

I have a rooted and carrier unlocked Alcatel OT Fierce, which had no connection issues in either the US or Germany, but in Israel it connects to the network for less than half a second, just long enough to grab a couple of new notifications, and then it drops the connection. This happens both on a local sim (Golan) and on a T-Mobile sim while roaming. If anyone has any information that could help I'd be pretty grateful.
