Verizon LG G4 I installed Textra SMS but I cannot find it anywhere under Apps or Application Manager

Even though when I go back to Google to re-install Textra SMS it tells me that is already installed on my phone, I cannot find it anywhere on my phone. Where is it on my phone and how do I set it as my messaging app (argh, I hate new phone set up!)?

I'm not certain about Textra but are you certain you installed the app and not an add on or theme? Go into your app drawer and in the upper left hand corner select sort by alphabetical. It should appear in ABC order down in the Ts. You could also go into your app drawer and in the upper left hand corner select to sort by recent this would put your most recently installed apps at the top of the list. Anyway one sure fire way to find it would be to go into your PLAY Store settings and select add icon to screen. Uninstall it then install it again and it should put the app icon on your home screen.
