How does the "ebooks" file work on an Asus memopad?

I use my tablet primarily for reading and have alot of books save to my tablet. I have the original file saved but there is also the ebooks file that seems to auto generate. But I'm not sure how accurate it is and if it will have every one of my books. (I have thousands) My Problem is with having both files it seems to take up double the space. It will let me delete the file but I'm not sure which would be the best to delete. I won't loose anything its all backed up, its just a pain to get everything back to how I want if something does go wrong

Ps I love my asus me176! It works great for everything I need, Just wish I had more internal space.
If anyone has any tips tips and tricks they would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to Android Central! That eBooks file is probably a database that the eReader app uses to keep track of books in its library. How big a file is it?
