Why is my LG Volt turning on to the LG screen and back off?

well I was letting the software update while my phone charged because it said it can do that. Later on the charger disconnected and I tried turning it on and it just went halfway on to the lg screen with the logo and turn off and the same thing kept repeating. Then I tried factory reset and turned it on BUT the same thing happen again!!!! Please help me fix it because I can't afford a new phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you know if the phone ran out of battery during the update? That can brick a phone, which is why they always tell you to make sure the phone is on a charger, or has a lot of battery charge, before starting a system update.

You could try a new battery to see if that helps. If it doesn't, the system may have been corrupted by the interrupted update.
