Log out of email client

[AC Question]

I have just activated the generic email client on my Galaxy Tab s 10.5 I want to know how to log out of this app so that a password is required to go back into the app to read email. Anyone have an answer?

Welcome to Android Central! Email apps don't typically have the option to log out of an email account. You should rely more on a good screen lock for the phone itself, because there's probably lots of other sensitive data that you don't want a thief to get their hands on.

You can try an app locker app, though, like AppLock.
