Backup and Restore not always working

[AC Question]

I just got my phone back my Nexus 6 from Motorola for warranty work. When I first got it I knew that I was going to be rooting it and loading a custom ROM but I decided to just install my sim and use it just to make calls for the time being. When I went through the initial setup and asked me if I want to restore my backup from previous backups after I logged in to my Google account. To my surprise I had a whole list of backups from when I first got my old phone a OnePlus and I was able to choose which apps I wanted to install. Well today I loaded Benzo ROM but after the initial setup it never asked me to restore a backup. Is there still a way I can restore one of my old backups or is this not a feature with Benzo ROM?
Am I missing something?
