Why can't I receive email on my ZTE Majesty

I was able to receive email and then it just stopped and says it's a connection problem.

Welcome to Android Central! Which email app are you using, and who is your email provider? Is the phone otherwise connected to the web via wi-fi or mobile data? Are you able to access the web from the browser, for example?
