I have the Huawei watch and am trying to understand the way notifications are handled in various phone settings (total silence, priority, alarms only). I usually have my phone on Total silence for about 8 hours a day while in class so if a text/email/anything came in I won't hear anything. Thats where the watch having an indicator showing that I have a notification comes in. However I found that if phone is on total silence the watch doesn't show anything on the screen unless I swipe up on the watch. I looked through settings and didn't see anything that would allow notifications on the watch even while in total silent mode. Does anyone know if that is possible and I am just overlooking something or is this just the way android wear handles these notifications.

Hi and welcome to Android Central.

What phone are you talking about?

I have my phone in normal mode and just vibration. That way it will still show on the watch. Priority mode affects both the watch and the phone. Enable it on one and they both are affected.
