    My S4, version 4.4.2, has been auto deleting my photo gallery for last few months and I can't stop it. Once the storage get's close to capacity this happens.
    I have no clue how this started except maybe my 4 year old may have hit a OK on a window that popped up when he was on it for games.

    Welcome to Android Central! First, let me suggest that you turn on Google Photos Auto Backup, so that your photos get backed up immediately to your Google Photos cloud after taking them (or soon after, if you have it set to upload only on wi-fi).

    Second, it sounds like the photos are saving to Internal Storage. I would recommend using a microSD card, and setting the Camera app to save to the SD card by default.
