Turn off display of status/notification when unlocking phone

[AC Question]

I use the pattern security feature to unlock my phone. EVERY time I unlock it, the first screen that's displayed is a notifications/status display that show things like recent app updates, wireless & bluetooth connections, and other random app data. I have to click the back button or the Clear button at the bottom of the display to make it go away. I HATE THIS SCREEN! I just want to get to my home screen immediately!

Is there any way to turn this "feature" off??? Please?

goto settings lock screen- shortcuts none..& multiple widgets off

In Settings, I don't see "Lock Screen" as an option. There's a "Security" option... and a "Display" option (among others), but neither has these sub-options you mention.
