Are you stock, locked, and untampored? Have you tried just forgetting the connection and signing in again? I know in the past some updates would just cause a little corruption in the data, whether it be encryption or setup or whatever, and forgetting the connection and signing in again solved the issue. If you done this or it doesn't work, does your signal strength fluctuate? Does it matter how close you are to the source? Is it all Wi-Fi or just your home? If only at home have you reset your home router? I know you feel the issue was caused by the update but I've seen coincidental things happen before so I'm just covering bases.
