Pemanent LTE Signal on Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5? help

is there a way to permanently switch to lte connection on galaxy tab s 10.5?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that you don't want 3G? Try going to Settings>Mobile Networks>Preferred Network Type ​(or something along those lines) and see if there's an option for LTE only.

You can do as suggested by B.Diddy but if you are in an area that does not have LTE you will receive 4G, 3G or 2G and your carrier if has data limits will let you connect using LTE and then throttle you to 3G or 2G speeds. I have found that if throttled on LTE choosing 3G will sometimes be faster if carrier uses 3Gs play with settings and use Ookla speed test found on playstore
